The Colombian symphonic power metal band Dark Shadow releases “We Are One,” the fifth single from their upcoming album Chapter Two: Celestial Bodies, available through Canadian label Sodeh Records.

Following the shared rebirth of “Brave the Storm,” Dark Shadow closes the cycle with a reflection on human interconnection and transcendence. The song explores the tension between self-sufficiency and the need for others, and arrives at a simple conclusion: true strength lies in unity.

“We Are One” confronts the realization that surviving alone is possible, but fulfillment is only found in communion. The lyrics follow an inner force that lifts the protagonist up in their darkest moments, a force that turns out to belong to something greater: an infinite chain connecting all beings.

At the center of the track is a spoken passage that distills the album’s concept. Just as every celestial body makes up the universe, every individual is a link in that chain. Death is not disappearance but transformation, as bodies return to the earth to nourish new life. This unity gives us purpose, and it leads us to greatness.
