⚠️ THE RIFT Just Exposed Every Fake Player In The Music Industry And 'Plasticity' Is The Receipt
LA rockers The Rift are back with "Plasticity," a blistering slice of alt-rock fury aimed straight at the industry's worst offenders, the self-titled "experts," the phony award-chasers, and the promoters who treat artists like product instead of people.
Blending the chaotic riffage of System of a Down, the cinematic tension of Muse, and the unrelenting aggression of Megadeth, "Plasticity" rips through layers of industry bullshit with lines like "phony awards for phony work, everybody everybody gets one." It's a track for anyone who's ever pulled back the curtain and seen the smoke and mirrors for what they really are.
With prog-rock complexity and hard rock punch, The Rift channel real frustration into a track that's as catchy as it is cutting. "Plasticity" asks the question a lot of artists are afraid to: how did we get like this? And the answer hits just as hard as the riffs.
For fans of System of a Down, Muse, and Megadeth, The Rift deliver a track built for anyone tired of fake smiles hiding ugly intentions.

Biography
SoCal native Aris Anagnos spent his days hustling through the music shops of Sunset Boulevard, taking on whatever odd jobs he could to stay afloat. But when night fell, he drifted into the neon-lit streets of downtown Los Angeles, absorbing the city’s raw energy and restless spirit. The grit of LA became his classroom, the freeway’s low rumble, the echo of distant sirens, and the late-night chatter of strangers all seeping into the melodies forming in his head.
What began as riffs soon evolved into a fearless fusion of heavy rock, thrash intensity, blues soul, reggae rhythm, flamenco fire, and intricate fingerpicking that felt deeply personal, like each note carried something he couldn’t quite put into words. His guitar wasn’t just an instrument; it was an outlet, a lifeline, a way to translate chaos into clarity.
When he finally crossed paths with a group of like-minded musicians who shared that same hunger and drive, the chemistry was undeniable and The Rift came to life.
