Biography
Frequency Overload is a Long Island-based metal band delivering a hardcore-infused twist on Crossover Thrash. Founded by guitarist Corey Schaefer and drummer Kevin Daily, the band draws from their deep roots in metal, with Corey’s history in bands like Uncle Jack and Misery Kills, and Kevin’s background in Exit Verona and Akalamathesia. Vocalist Mr. Bush (formerly of Social Disease and Pummel) and bassist Steve Little (Cobalt 60, Ionize) round out the lineup. Their debut album *Fate Anthropic* released in May of 2024, has the band’s lyrics confront life’s darker themes with intensity, driven by their collective influences from Led Zeppelin to Lamb of God. With strong support from their families, Frequency Overload has built a presence in the NYC and Long Island metal scenes, including slots at events like Spring Slaughter and tours alongside Spoiler NYC.
